John T. Mays, M.D.

The Bone and Joint Clinic is pleased to welcome Dr. John T. Mays for the practice of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, effective February 2009.

       Dr. Mays was formerly with the Green Clinic in Ruston, Louisiana and the Highland Clinic in Shreveport.  Dr. Mays graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He interned at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Mays is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  We are excited to have Dr. Mays with us and look forward to our patients getting to know him better. He brings to us to same dedication to excellence for which the Bone and Joint Clinic has historically been known.
